Snow Tha Product on Cinco de Mayo in Phoenix

Snow Tha Product hit The Van Buren on Cinco de Mayo on the Dale Gas Tour. Phoenix showed up with flags and merch and the Spanish verses as loud as the English ones.

She can rap. That is the first thing. Butter. Bilingüe. Deep cuts. The mic was on. She talked to the room like family in between, which is how you can tell who has been on the road a long time versus who is passing through.

Fans on stage to dance. Then Cómo La Flor. Lights up. Hands. That one sits with people. You could feel it.

I was in Phoenix for this, not Texas, and the night still made sense. Representation is a word people overuse. What I saw was a bilingual crowd that did not have to pick a language to belong in the room.

Moody Studios

Jasmine. Austin. Live music, Black culture, and whatever I actually sat through. I write like I was in the room because I was.

Church to Club and Back

Sunday morning and Saturday night use the same voice. I never thought that was a contradiction.

Ticketmaster Math

A cheap floor seat is never cheap. Houston, Austin, and Dallas will all take their cut. I still buy them.

The Afters Problem

The venue dumps you at 11. The night is not over. Where it actually goes depends on the city.
